Manchester City must regroup quickly from its midweek Champions League loss and head to London for an FA Cup semifinal match on Saturday with Chelsea. One Chelsea player will be especially looking forward to Saturday and that’s former Manchester City player Cole Palmer. The 21-year-old bagged four goals in Chelsea’s destruction of Everton on Monday to tie Erling Haaland as Premier League top scorer. Scoring against the club which sold him last summer and seeing his current club through to a Wembley final might be the next best thing to Palmer’s Monday quadruple. Chelsea drew with Manchester City in both of the clubs’ Premier League meetings this season. Manchester United faces Coventry on Sunday in the Cup’s other semifinal match. The Red Devils have not played Coventry since 2007. The English Championship division squad surprised Premier League side Wolverhampton last round to arrive here in the semifinals. Managed by former Manchester United player Mark Robins, Coventry has since been in a bit of a rough patch, losing three of their last four league matches.
