The Carabao (EFL) Cup will play its Round of Sixteen this week with half the Premier League sides still alive in the competition. Four Wednesday matches will feature Premier League sides facing each other. Manchester United’s match with Newcastle on Wednesday could be the most competitive with Red Devil Manager Eric ten Hag desperately needing a win of any sort while his counterpart, Eddie Howe, could be more likely to rotate his line-up ahead of next weekend’s Premier League match with Arsenal. The Gunners travel to West Ham on Wednesday where Hammer Manager David Moyes could also be on the hot seat. Liverpool travels to Bournemouth while Everton is home to Burnley in the other two all-Premier League matches. Chelsea and Fulham will be taking on Championship sides, Blackburn Rovers and Ipswich Town, respectively.
