Champions League
Manchester City and Liverpool return to Champions League action on Wednesday. Manchester City takes a 1-0 advantage to Spain for its match with Atletico Madrid. Liverpool has a 3-1 lead in their tie with Sporting Lisbon which resumes at Anfield. Chelsea has the most difficult mountain to climb as they occupy a 3-1 hole and play a day earlier at Real Madrid Tuesday in the second leg of the tie with the current La Liga leaders. Romelu Lukaku is a reported injury scratch for Chelsea which probably ranks surprisingly low on supporters’ concerns.
Europa League
West Ham is at Lyon with the teams tied at a goal apiece in their Europa League tie. The Hammers survived a first half red card to keep things level after the first leg at London Stadium.
Europa Conference League
Leicester travels to PSV for the second leg of a tie in which neither club has yet found the net.
