14 of the 20 Premier League teams play for a second time this week in matches scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday. The highlight of the mid-week clashes may be Chelsea’s visit to Liverpool on Thursday. Liverpool will be trying to avoid a 5th consecutive defeat at Anfield and would leapfrog over currently 5th place Chelsea with a victory. Chelsea have drawn 2 consecutive league matches as the Blues’ attack under manager Thomas Tuchel has yet to fully engage.

Manchester City will look for a 21st straight victory when they play host to Wolves on Tuesday. The recent dominance of Pep Guardiola’s team has been such that the Citizens have not trailed in their last 18 league matches, one short of the league record held by Arsenal.
Crystal Palace is unlikely to have leading scorer Wilfried Zaha back when Manchester United visit Selhurst Park on Wednesday. The Eagles have failed to score in 17 of the last 22 Premier League matches they have played without Zaha. The Red Devils will look to extend their club record away match unbeaten run to 21.
Burnley will host struggling Leicester at Turf Moor. The Foxes are reeling from injuries to key players and will need Jamie Vardy to awake from a slump which has seen him score but a single goal since Christmas.
Spurs head to Craven Cottage for a London derby versus Fulham with both teams’ seasons at a critical juncture. Fulham is fighting to escape relegation. Spurs, 8th in the table after this past weekend, are trying to secure their ticket for Europe next season.
West Brom will look to extend their current 3 match home unbeaten run when Everton visits The Hawthorns. A 9th away goal by Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin will match the club record held by former striker Romelu Lukaku.
Sheffield United will look to avoid a 5th consecutive defeat when Aston Villa visits Bramall Lane. Aston Villa enters the week 4 points outside the European places. Villa captain Jack Grealish remains a question for the match as he continues to recover from a lower leg injury which has cost him the last two matches.
